Teacher Gifts 2011

It's that time of the year again............ After many months of not blogging just browsing & playing with my new best friend Gypsy, here is a selection of photos showing what my 2 youngest children will be giving their teachers this year.

The gift bags were created using Chalkboard vinyl, Gypsy Wanderings, Speaking of School, a kraft bag, some raffia and some charcoal thread from The Twinery (just love their stuff !!!)

The magnetic pegs were very simple to make just using a DCWV stack and some glossy accents, the packaging they were placed in was again done with Gypsy Wanderings and Speaking of School

And my favorite "Guilt Free Cupcakes" were made with 100% cotton washcloths, a handmade strawberry soap and a wrapper from Cupcake Wrappers

Let's hope the teachers like them xxx

OMG !!!! I have a Gypsy..............

Sorry it's been a while since I last posted anything, but as with most people time passes us by in a flash without us even realising. A lot has happened since I was last here, we had a brilliant Florida holiday in Nov/Dec, then it was christmas & my DH suprised me with a Gypsy !!!!!!
This machine has passed all my expectations, I have watched countless hrs of tutorials, flicked from blog to blog to try to learn what it is capable of & today I had a go and made a little collection of cards.
I wasn't sure where to start with it, but cards seemed a good place to start. These are relatively basic in comparison to things I have seen but they have given me the opportunity to practice, resizing, welding etc etc
